Mrs Laws - Admin Officer

My journey at Wyndham Primary School began in June 2016. Before this I worked in travel and this has to be the best move I have made!

In my role as Admin Officer I am responsible for the smooth running of the front office. I am the first contact for all visitors, making sure they receive a warm welcome. Some of my duties include sending communication to parents, supporting our Lead Professional with attendance, aswell as supporting the Headteacher and School Business Manager.

During my 6 years of service I have been given the opportunities to develop and demonstrate my individual skills which has led me to feel like a truly valued member of staff.

The thing I most enjoy about working at Wyndham is seeing how happy the children are and watching them grow. We have a wonderful group of staff who always put a smile on my face.

As we are part of Smart Multi Academy Trust I have made many friends within our other Mat schools this is due to attending various meeting and training sessions. They are always there to offer a helping hand.

I have two sons who attend our school, they thoroughly enjoy their time here.

Outside of school, my life revolves around football. I enjoy going to support my sons football teams as well as Newcastle United, I like to keep myself fit in the gym and socialising with friends and family.

I look forward to many years ahead working at Wyndham and thank the staff, children for making it so enjoyable.
