Our aim is that the school should remain open wherever possible and closure should always be a last resort. The decision as to whether or not to close the school in any given situation remains with the Headteacher.

The overriding concern must be the safety of pupils and staff. We would obviously want to remain open as long as we can, as long as pupils and staff as are able to get into school but we would not wish to place either adults or children in any danger through using dangerous roads or footpaths.

In order to receive any updates, please make sure that we have an up to date mobile number. Text messages will be sent to provide necessary information.

Our website will also show an 'Important Notice' on the homepage so parents/guardians may check the site regularly for any alerts.
