Playgroup clothing

To encourage independence, we suggest comfortable easy to wear clothes. This gives your child the freedom to participate in all activities safely.

For safety reasons no jewellery should be worn.

Please provide a named bag of spare clothes to leave in the cloakroom so we may easily change your child in case of accidents.

Playgroup can be a very wet, messy place, so please don’t put special clothes on your child.

If your child wears nappies please provide these with any wipes etc your child needs.

School Uniform

At Wyndham Primary School we encourage all pupils to look smart and be well dressed.  It is expected that all pupils wear the full school uniform. Outlandish clothing or hairstyles are not acceptable for school. All pupils need to be clean and tidy to enable them to have the best possible opportunity to learn. The Headteacher shall have the final say in deciding what is acceptable, so when in doubt parents should consult with her before buying items which might not be acceptable.

Parents are requested to ensure that their children's clothing is suitable both for the time of year and for the activities that the children are likely to follow.

The wearing of jewellery by pupils is not allowed, except for an inexpensive watch. This must be removed for P.E. lessons. 

On your child's class PE days, children are permitted to come to school wearing their PE kit. PE kit consists of a school PE t-shirt, black shorts, with an optional school hoody.

P.E Kit

At Wyndham we value a healthy and active lifestyle and aim to ensure our children are comfortable and ready to participate fully in P.E lessons.  Children are to come into school wearing their P.E kit on their P.E days to maximise the time available.

• House coloured t-shirt.
• School jumper or optional school hoodie (only to be worn on PE days).

Children are not permitted to wear jewellery and any watches must be removed for PE.

Forgotten kit

Pupils who fail wear the correct P.E. kit (including footwear) will be required to borrow spare school kit.

Pre-loved School Uniform

Here at Wyndham Primary we have a supply of donated uniform which has been preloved but has plenty of wear left in it.

Reusing school uniform is a great way of saving money as well as helping protect the environment by recycling and reducing waste.  This is available for anyone so please get in touch if you require any uniform and we will see if we have what you need. 

You can either call into the school office or email us at admin.wps@smartacademies.net and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

If you have any uniform you no longer need please feel free to bring this to the school office and we will add to the stock.
