School Vision, Values and Motto 

This academic year the staff at Wyndham Primary school co-constructed our school vision and statement of intent; again incorporating everything that we believe our school represents. Our vision is ‘To nurture a family of happy, kind and confident children’ which we aim to achieve via our statement of intent by ‘Creating an environment where children know that they are safe and cared for.’  

A number of years ago we worked as a whole staff team to create our now well-established school values of; Caring, Community, Perseverance, Respect and Teamwork. These are now embedded within school practices and within our Behaviour Policy and are something that all of our children and staff can eloquently talk about and understand how they form an integral part of our school ethos.  

More recently our Anti-Bullying Ambassadors worked together to create a school motto which all of our pupils, staff and parents voted on and agreed was the best option. We feel that the chosen motto of ‘We are a rainbow of possibilities’ encapsulates our multi-cultural and welcoming school community and the hard-working and accepting school culture where diversity and all achievements and successes are celebrated that we are proud of.  

School Drivers 

Our school drivers underpin everything within our curriculum and have recently been co-constructed by all of the staff at Wyndham Primary School. The over-riding school driver is ‘Relationships’ and this is the heart and soul of our school community and curriculum. Our other four curriculum drivers are; Diversity, Aspiration, Vocabulary and Oracy which are interwoven throughout our curriculum. 

SMART Trust Ethos and Mission Statement

As a member of SMART Multi-Academy Trust, our values are the principles to which we work and are central to all that we do as a Trust and in the life of our schools.
